The bug

When an asset is uploaded via web, then synced to mobile and permanently removed from web, it stucks in the mobile app until sync of all images is forced. It cannot be removed from mobile app, removal fails because asset_id no longer exists on server.

The OS that Immich Server is running on

Fedora 41

Version of Immich Server

v1.126.1

Version of Immich Mobile App

v1.126.1

Platform with the issue

  • Server
  • Web
  • Mobile

Your docker-compose.yml content

not relevant

Your .env content

not relevant

Reproduction steps

  1. upload an image on web
  2. open mobile app and let it sync and view the image
  3. kill the mobile app
  4. permanently remove the image
  5. open mobile app -> image still there

I no longer have this issue in the latest release, pull to refresh refreshes the history correctly for now

The issue is still there in the latest v1.128.0. Pull to refresh doesn't change anything. Only force double pull reloads all assets from server and local storage.
