  • 👋🏽 Hi, I’m @RMedina19 a Mexican software and data practitioner.
  • 👩🏽‍🎓 I'm a soon-to-graduate MS in Computational Analysis and Public Policy (MSCAPP) at the University of Chicago, sponsored by the Fulbright program.
    • Also, I'm a board member for the South Side Civic (SSC) that organizes the Civic Scopeathon for organizations working in the South of Chicago.
  • 💼 I am a Data Science Fellow at the Mansueto Institute of Urban Innovation, where I helpe build the Mansueto CTA StopWatch
  • 👩🏽‍💻 I have worked as a Data Coordinator and Data Analyst in the non-profit sector in Mexico, studying gender and human rights.
  • 👾 My primary programming languages are Python, R, and Go. I have extensive experience in building automatic data pipelines, cleaning and visualizing data, and documenting collaborative code repositories.
  • 👩🏾‍🤝‍👩🏽 I co-founded the RLadies Chapter in Aguascalientes, Mexico, my hometown.
